Fine-tuning the Bluetooth

Hi Everyone.

For those who live in warmer climates, I’m so very jealous! It’s cold here right now and hurts to type because my fingers and toes freeze when the temperature drops even the slightest.

So back track to earlier this year when it was warmer, I did an illustration for Bluetooth SIGnature magazine. The article was about the tweaks and enhancements that were being worked on and tackled in the new Bluetooth core specification version 4.0. I thought to illustrate this by drawing some working men reconstructing a cell tower/electric tower into a ‘4’. Here are some of my initial concepts:

I really wanted to do just the man up in the electric tower but I understood that it was important to the client to have some Bluetooth technology in the illustration so I came up with a slightly different concept. Here is my process work:
